Composition & The form of drug:

1 tablet, film coated contains donepezil hydrochloride 5 and 10 mg (free donepezil 4.56 mg and 9.12 mg, respectively), in bottles of 28, 30 and 100 pieces. Or in blister packs 7, 14 and 15 pc.

Aricept tablets

Indications:

Dementia in Alzheimer's disease (mild to moderate severity) in adults, including older (symptomatic treatment).

Dosage and administration:

Inside, the evening (just before bedtime) at an initial dose - 5 mg once a day for 1 month, if necessary, further dose can be increased to 10 mg 1 time per day. The maximum recommended daily dose - 10 mg. Supportive therapy can continue for as long as the therapeutic effect.

Side effects:

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea gastrointestinal disorders, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, fatigue, insomnia, seizures, syncope, bradycardia, sinoatrial and AV blockade, increased serum creatine kinase fraction.
